The Governor of Edo state, Godwin Obasekihas accused his predecessor, Adams Oshiomhole has the brain behind the unconstitutional decisions of the Federal government.
This latest accusation is a part of the ongoing rift between the two Leaders of the Edo State APC.
Gov.Obaseki in a statement on Sunday by his spokesman, Crusoe Osagie, alleged that Oshiomhole got top officials at the presidency to approve the composition of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) board when President Muhammadu Buhari was out of the country.
Bittertruth Media recalls that President had last Thursday stated that the Board of the NDDC will be recomposed and inaugurated at the end of a forensic audit of the agency. This decision obviously sacked the Pius Odubu-led board, which had the overbearing influencing of Mr.Oshiomhole.
Obaseki also alleged that the APC national chairman had his cronies on the board of the NDDC and saw the agency as his cash cow.
He also said Oshiomhole compiled a list of commissioners in his living room in 2016, after he (Obaseki) was sworn in as governor. Mr.Oshiomhole had however denied the allegation, insisting that he only nominated one commissioner the Gov.Obaseki.
