Jonathan Thanks Nigerians Over Gunmen Attack On His Hometown

Former Nigerian President, Dr.Goodluck Jonathan has thanked Nigerians for showing him and his family love and support after unknown Gunmen recently attacked his home town of Otueke in an attempt to steal a military gunboat some metres away from his personal mansion.

Bittertruth Media reports that the attack has left a soldier dead and few others injured.

However, Jonathan in a post on his official Facebook page said;

“Thank you Nigerians and all well-wishers for your solidarity and sympathy following the Christmas eve attack by unknown gunmen in my country home in Otuoke, Bayelsa State.

I commended the Nigerian military for their gallantry in repelling the attack by engaging the assailants in a fierce gun duel that unfortunately claimed the life of a soldier”.
