EFCC Gets Court’s Permission To Further Detain Senator Sani

The travails of a former Kaduna State federal lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani appears far from been over as the Economic and Financial Crime Commission (EFCC) has obtained a court order to detain him for additional 14 days.

This according to the EFCC is to allow for a thorough investigation of Sani’s alleged involvement in name dropping and extortion as  the complainant, Alhaji Sani Dauda has dropped fresh allegations Senator Sani.

Bittertruth Media recalls that Senator Shehu Sani was arrested on New Year ‘s Eve by the EFCC operatives in Abuja for allegedly extorting $10,000 from Dauda, the Chairman of ASD Motors.
