Nigeria’s main opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, on Tuesday continued with its peaceful protest by taking its grievances to the embassies of the European Union and France.
The protest included the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Partyand some party members in the National Assembly.
The protesters were led by the PDP National Secretary, Senator Ibrahim Tsauri. He presented the party’s protest letters to the officials at the embassies.
Tsauri maintained that democracy has been derailed in Nigeria and solicited the cooperation and assistance of the international community.
