President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the termination of the appointment of Prof. Charles Uwakwe as the Registrar/Chief Executive of the National Examinations Council, NECO.
Uwakwe’s sack was contained in a statement Wednesday evening signed by the Head, Information and Public Relations Division of NECO, Azeez Sani.
He said the president also approved the dismissal of four management staff from the services of the council for various offences.
It explained that the president’s action was conveyed, “In a Letter dated 11th May 2020 and signed by the Permanent Secretary Federal Ministry of Education, Arc. Sonny Echono on behalf of the Education Minister.”
